A bill proposed by a group of lawmakers aimed at moving business activities of Russian companies from offshores back to the country has been submitted to the lower house of parliament, the State Duma.

Russia's Constitutional Court has dismissed an application filed by Pussy Riot member Nadezhda Tolokonnikova seeking to revise an article of the Criminal Code on hooliganism, a charge for which she was sentenced in 2012.

Lower house lawmaker Yevgeny Fyodorov has proposed amendments to the law On Banks and Banking that would prohibit state-owned banks from using audit and consulting companies with foreign capital, Izvestia newspaper writes on Wednesday.
