Moscow 2012 riots activist Gushchin released from prison
Ilya Gushchin, who was convicted for participation in the riots on Bolotnaya Square on May 6, 2012, has served his term and was released from the prison in the Tulskaya Region.
Builder of FIFA World Cup stadium sued for $255,000
On September 18, the Moscow Commercial Court will hear a 15.8 million ruble ($255,000) lawsuit filed by the Rostov Region’s Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Territorial Development against company Sport Engineering who is building the stadiums for 2018 FIFA World Cup events for violating contract deadlines.
